All Children Can Achieve

About

Here at Burlington House School we understand that each and every one of our pupils is different – and that you know your child better than anybody else.

That’s why our teaching is tailored to each individual and why we put you and your child’s needs at the centre of everything we do. The Burlington House School experience is about much more than academic performance, we’re here to help raise independent, confident, inspiring young adults who can reach their potential in whatever path they choose.

We’re extremely proud of the fact that our students achieve more with us than they might once have believed. Combined with a growth in confidence, natural abilities, and self-esteem – our students go on to successfully achieve in further and higher education settings, and to realise their professional ambitions. Since 1998 Burlington House School (formerly The Moat School) has provided this space to learn and grow and become the number one school in the UK for outcomes for pupils with SpLDs, we hope you can continue on this journey to make sure all children can achieve

Our ethos and aims

Everything we do at Burlington House School honours these three pillars.

From designing the curriculum and assessing the pupils, to casual conversations at lunch time and breaks, we are always bearing in mind the most important objectives of why they, and we, are here:

To support the achievement of their full academic potential.

To develop and nurture their self-esteem, skills, and natural abilities.

To motivate them towards independence in learning and everyday life.
